My favourite place - and a Charity! This garden and healing well has a simplicity about it that draws me time and time again, The Chalice Well, set at the bottom of the famous Glastonbury or Avalon Tor, is a wonderful healing garden and holy well which has the most amazing energy and the first place I recommend to anyone visiting the area. The well and gardens are run as a charity and I ask please do as I do and help the charity to continue their good work and support as a Companion!
The Chalice Well is one of the oldest continuously used holy wells in Britain. Archaeology has shown that the Spring was used by prehistoric tribes who inhabited this land, and for the last 2000 years we can be fairly sure that the site has been in constant use. To be at the well head, and drink the water and absorb the atmosphere of the place is truly an inspirational experience!
